Where next?

There is no right of way – only an open horizon

 and a long road ahead.

Put yesterday behind you, ask no questions

but take care.

What happened across the tracks

is none of your business.

Concentrate on the now

don’t try reading between the lines

or second guessing yourself.

You will never make sense of it all.

Instead allow yourself

to be bewitched and bedazzled by life.

Kick over the traces,

look for familiar faces

take your courage in both hands

for friendship is beyond price.

Somewhere there is music.

Somewhere there are wandering birds

and bells silent.  Ringing in the changes

and flying high towards the jewelled light

like a moth to a flame takes coraggio.

Living takes courage.

Loving takes courage.

Admitting we were wrong takes courage.

But courage we have and dreams.

Let us go! … Andiamo!
